Welcome to My Garden Journal 

I can't actually recall how this started but I guess I just needed a bit of a distraction, project or just anything to keep my mind busy so when I stumbled onto some seeds on eBay I went a little crazy and bought a few. I never did inherit the green thumb from either of my parents and have sadly killed plants indoors and outdoors over the years but figured what the hell, spring was fast approaching, sun was shining and maybe just maybe growing from seeds would work better in my garden then buying established plants that for some reason just die within weeks... plus we talking eBay and only a few dollars here and there for seed so it's worth a shot to see what I can grow. Needless to say it started with some Fox Gloves and Freesia seeds and before I knew it I was hunting for ideas on how to utilize the fence in my small back yard to grow veggies! I must admit it's either a phase or a serious addiction now but I find it hard to stop and I just love seeing my little seeds grow. When I first started I wasn't very organized and for some silly reason didn't mark where I planted what.. Duhhhhhh!! I think partly because I really didn’t think I would go seed crazy and forget...lol..So as you can imagine it was guesswork to see what had sprouted where and after hours of browsing on the net looking for pictures of seeds sprouting to see what they look like I couldn’t find much. So here I am ready to share some of my pictures which may help a few budding gardeners like me to recognize what has sprouted in your garden.
